Geocaching !

We had heard sooo much about geocaching but never got around to start doing it. It was fun !!! we decided to go for an "easy" one, but it took us a while to find it, I wasn't gonna give up though. We left a Costa Rican coin in, and took a small wooden Danish flag, which will be part of a mini album at some stage :D

Our first find !!!

The cache was on the grounds of this lovely church

If you haven't tried Geocaching, I highly reccomend it !!It's free, it's a family day out, we do some excercise and bring the dog for a walk at the same time !!! You need a SatNav or a GPS. There are some caches in Costa Rica too :D Check it out : www.geocaching.com

Then we headed for a walk to Glendalough, Co Wicklow.
We walked an hour and a half, the girls got very tired, and the dog was fit for nothing for the rest of the day !

We are heading next weekend to find 2 more caches !!!

Belfast !

Sorry for being MIA, but I have been busy craftwise. I've been putting together sets of cards for presents and maybe to sell some too. I'll be putting 10 variety cards & envelopes in a lovely box, I'm half way making them though :D

Anyway, in the meantime, I will post some pics from Belfast. We were there over the weekend, and I can't wait to go again ! there is sooo much I want to see !!!

Pics of my girls on the "Hop On Hop Off" bus:
(after visiting the Disney Store)

This is a mini version of the Big Ben:

This is the place where the Titanic was built. Many other huge ships were built here too. These yellow cranes have become Belfast landmarks:

A mural about the Titanic:

There are a lot of murals all around the city, unfortunately I didnt get a chance to photograph them all. Some of the violent ones are being painted over with more positive images.

I felt I was in another country but within the same country :D different currency, different flag, different shops, roads, etc... It was quite nice. We visited friends whose hospitality was top notch !!

Im sure we will be back again soon !!

Altered Frame & Twins Christening Card

Last Friday I was in a "high" making cards. Had an order for a Christening card and I wanted to do a frame for a friend's son birthday.

On this economical recession, I think I will be giving handmade presents often !! :D

This is the twin's Christening card, used the same style I usually use for Christening cards and just adapted the 2 cute suits, which are from "Jolee's".

Today was a very special day for my girls, they went back to school. And it was my youngest first day too, we went in,and she went straight to the sand pit.

The girls came home delighted they didnt have homework, but I do :o( I have to cover 20+ books.
